Tentative Start Date: December 1, 2025
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 0600–1700, excluding federal holidays
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business, information management, or a related medical discipline is required
- Experience:
- Minimum 12 Months of experience in medical administration or healthcare office operations required.
- Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EHR GENESIS.
- Ability to type 30–40 words per minute.
- Experience with budget preparation and management is preferred.
- Experience in ophthalmology clinic or supply management a plus.
- License/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in English.

Responsibilities
- Perform administrative and clerical support functions within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Manage daily operations of the Refractive Surgery Center, including ordering and maintaining required forms and supplies.
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, and medical statements.
- Support budget proposals, monitor expenditures, and assist in managing clinic finances.
- Maintain patient and administrative records in compliance with HIPAA and DHA policies.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff and leadership to support clinic operations and patient care.
- Use EHR GENESIS and other military databases to input and retrieve patient and administrative data.
- Assist with presentation preparation, training materials, and administrative projects as needed.
- Provide customer service support to patients and staff, answering questions and assisting with administrative processes.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DoD, DHA, and MTF procedures.
